Royal City Basketball Club is home to several rep basketball teams that compete in the Ontario Basketball League, Ontario Basketball Association and Provincial Championships. We are a proud partner of and sponsor club of Team Breakdown for our rep teams! As a club, we aim to bring in committed players from the local area to represent Royal City Basketball at province-wide competitions. We also look to create a strong community of players and supporters with the hope that the strength of the community and the experiences teach these kids more about themselves while creating long lasting memories for a lifetime! Overall, the purpose of our rep teams is to promote the personal and physical development of young athletes through competitive play.
All rep teams will practice a minimum of twice a week in Guelph with OBL games, exhibition games and tournaments throughout the season. Additional activities as a team, will vary depending on the decisions of coaches, team managers, and parents. Starting in Sept of 2023, the fees for rep team registration will include a uniform package and player fees. Fundraising opportunities are available and recommended for rep teams.
